Happy new year to all year 13 students. I hope you had a good Christmas break.

Because of the weather conditions I may not be with you for today's lesson (Friday 8th January). If that is the case this is the work you should complete for this week:

Please undertake research into "Loaded" magazine. Try to find out when it was launched and by whom. Who was the intended target audience and how was that audience targetted? How did the magazine try to distinguish itself from other titles that preceded it? What longer-term impact did it have on the mens' magazine market? Please bring the results of your research to next week's lesson.
